Classic Yacht Charters

If you enjoy the outdoors and fresh air, few experiences can compete with sailing off Britain’s south coast. And the classic yacht charters organised by Zulu Yachting provide everything you could want for a great day out enjoying sailing at its finest.

A classic yacht charter means having capable, experienced crew to ensure the yacht is skippered and sailed safely. They will make the most of the wind and the sea conditions to take the yacht on a course that will ensure great sailing, and great scenery. The yacht has space for you to get involved with the sailing if you wish, or simply relax and enjoy the experience of the classic yacht and its unparalleled interior, the panelled deck and classic fittings.

Classic yacht charters have an all together different feel, when compared with a trip on a modern fibreglass boat. A classic yacht such as Cetewayo, built of mahogany, teak and oak simply looks, feels and even sails in a different league. While its classic design has been subtly modernised, and fitted with the latest developments in sail cloth technology, safety and navigational equipment, this classic yacht still oozes style. Nothing can beat the sheen of a beautifully polished and varnished mahogany cabin, or the planked deck with its contrasting chrome fittings.

Even if you are enjoying a leisurely charter sail, you can appreciate how this yacht would be, heeled over and claiming another hard fought victory in a sailing race off the South Coast or the Solent. This yacht has been sailed for many years, with crews claiming one victory after another. Her long, lean lines ensure good speed while the beam is wide enough to allow comfortable accommodation below decks.

A classic yacht charter lets you claim a slice of involvement in the yacht’s history, without needing to have a skipper’s qualifications. Let the crew take care of you and the yacht, ensuring you have an exhilarating yet relaxing day in the company of friends or family. Should you wish anything to eat or drink, all you need do is ask, as the crew take care of all your refreshments on the day, with a menu of delightful choices.

What better alternative is there for an exhilarating day out, with guaranteed fresh air that will leave everyone on board uplifted? A classic yacht charter is the ideal way to entertain friends and family, in a convivial environment. When will you be setting sail?

Welcome word from David Murrin:

I know it has not been the best summer on record, but that being said The Solent always has the best weather on the south coast of England, so it’s never quite as bad as the mainland!

We have re-designed the website so that the visitor gets some idea of charter destinations in the Solent, all of which are worth visiting, each with its own merits.

This year there are a host of amazing regattas on the Solent with some stunning yachts not often seen in the UK, all the details are in the calendar, and that’s not including the Olympics! Please remember that we can operate a charter at short notice so one can do a weather check.

Our mainstream product is a Corporate day catering for eight people. This works out at an all in cost of £312.00 per head including a fabulous lunch and plenty of good wines. Naturally if more than one charter is bought at once further discounts are available to a level of £218.00 per head.

In addition we have offered a day in which sailing is combined with a 60 minute presentation on my book, “Breaking the Code of History”. www.breakingthecodeofhistory.com. This would be suitable for all levels of business clients or colleagues.

In addition we run now a referral program. Any referral that leads to a charter is rewarded with a day’s sailing for one person. i.e. 8 referrals in a year would mean one free day for you and your guests of choice.

I would be happy to discuss any of the above any time, and thank you, in anticipation, for your support.
